CBD Vs. Delta 8

The cannabis industry continues to get larger and larger. Most people within the cannabis and hemp industry are aware of what CBD and THC are. However, how familiar are the masses with the differences between the many products within the industry? We’re here to break it down nice and slow, just like the way that our CBD and Delta 8 products come over our customers.

With Delta 8 winning the hemp industry’s most popular contest, people are looking left and right for more information about the product. We find it helpful to compare it to one of the industry’s most well-known products with one that people may not know enough about.

CBD

CBD, or cannabidiol, is the second most prevalent active ingredient of the cannabis plant. This ingredient is an essential component of cannabis, as it is derived directly from the hemp plant. An important note about CBD is that it is not psychoactive.

Delta 8

Delta 8 is a cannabis compound that has similarities to the ever-so-popular Delta 9. Delta 8, or D8, stands for delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol. It is a psychoactive cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant that may have analgesic, antiemetic, orexigenic, and neuroprotective properties. This compound is manually extracted and created by being taken into a lab where it’s converted into Delta 8.

The difference

CBD will not give you a euphoric-like feeling. Here at KingPin Labs, we call our Delt 8 products CBD 2.0. If you’re looking for CBD properties but with an extra kick, Delta 8 may be the right choice for you.

The Similarities

One similarity between Delta 8 and CBD is that they are both cannabinoids. However, there are few similarities between the two. Delta 8 THC  is most similar to Delta 9 THC.
